Hole-in-the-Wall in South Africa

How the Photo was Taken

I took this image using a Canon 6D dslr and a sturdy tripod. This long exposure was made possible with the use of a neutral density filter. The image has not been altered, but some color adjustments / enhancements were made in Lightroom.

Photo Location

This image of the iconic Hole-in-the-Wall rock formation at the end of the Mpako river was taken on a recent trip through the Transkei, known as the Wild Coast of South Africa. This region offers an incredible amount of diverse landscapes and photographic opportunities - after three cloudless days in the area, I finally had some luck on the last day's sunset.
