World Explorers Bureau’s 2016 Summit September 3-4

Meet and hear from some of the greatest advocates of adventure and exploration. Speakers will be sharing their personal insights and stories at the 2016 World Explorer’s Summit in Cardiff.

Pink Pangea’s Venice, Italy writing retreat June 11-15

For a fully immersive cultural experience, Pink Pangea is inviting aspiring and established writers to apply for a spot on their next writing retreat in Venice! Five days will be spent in experiential writing workshops and touring around the magical city.

Utah Creative Community Competition for Writers 

There’s just a few more days until the deadline of April 20th for this writing contest! Enter your short story for a chance at publication and cash prize ($350, $200, $100).

Transition Abroad’s Expatriate and Work Abroad Writing Contest

There’s still time to enter before the May 15th deadline! All professionals, freelancers and aspiring writers with international work or study experience are encouraged to enter. Inspiring articles with in-depth practical descriptions of moving, living and working abroad are the most likely to win. Prizes: $500, $150 and $100 with runner-ups receiving $50 and publication.

WSGT’s new Travel Writing Award

Starting in May, the WSGT contests will be no more and in their place, a brand new award! The submission period will run from May 4th to July 4th. More to be revealed shortly!
