Monica CorredorThe photo was taken with my Nikon D3000 camera. I did not alter the photo in any way. This was just the real setting. I didn’t add any filters whatsoever.
I took this photo on September 10th 2016 at 6:00 pm during one of the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve seen. Location: Chili Kiwi Hostel, Pucon, Chile 2016 was a sabbatical year for me, and I decided to travel the world and keep exploring new places. I met some friends in Chile and went on a trip to the lakes and volcanoes area in the south. Pucon was a must stop on the way. After a relaxed day walking around this touristic and German type village, but almost fake due to its perfection, we went back to our hostel. This image was taken just in front of the hostel that has a privileged view of the lake and the Villarrica Volcano. That afternoon, the sky surprised us with clear skies and a perfect view of the volcano and its snowy peak. When the sun started to fade away in the horizon, Pucon gave us the most varied and beautiful range of purple, orange, blue and yellow colors that which reflection in the calm waters of the lake made it look like a piece of art embodied in a canvas. The view was so stunning that one hour after we seemed petrified still looking at the horizon.
