While looking to lean on a wooden fence in Borneo, (in order to take photo of an orangutan!) I blew some leaves away, to find two leaves that stubbornly remained put! I blew harder, only for the ‘leaves’ to raise up, turn its head - and stare at me most disapprovingly! It turns out I had disturbed a mimetic leaf insect. Who posed most politely, before jumping away.
