How the Photo was Taken

I used a DSLR for this shot, a Canon 70D. I bumped up the contrast, removed a few of the people in Photoshop and Lightroom.

I took this in Yellowstone National Park at the Grand Prismatic Spring from afar. This was taken in May of 2017 around 3pm.
