Ilinca Ciubotariu
This image was taken using a NikonD5000 camera and the image is shown through a crystal ball. This image was slightly altered by increasing the contrast in Lightroom.
This photo was chosen because it presents a novel view of Gapstow Bridge in Central Park. This photo was taken on February 5th of 2016 in the afternoon at 1 pm after a snow storm occurred in New York City. The sky cleared up and the sun came out, creating a glowing effect on the snow. The park was empty and serene, and Ilinca was able to capture the fleeting moment. The crystal ball wide-angled view of the scene and an overall magical effect.

Ilinca Ciubotariu was born in Romania in 1994 and resides in Baltimore. She earned her bachelor's degree from Columbia University and her master's degree from the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She very much enjoys photography and aims to share the beauty of the world through her images.
