February NEWS: One Million Video Views WeSaidGoTravel
Thank you so very much for your support for We Said Go Travel! I still remember my first trip with my Cisco Flip taking video in Taiwan. A fifth grader at school taught me iMovie at recess one day and now I am going to have ONE MILLION VIDEO VIEWS!
Where did I travel in February?
I returned to Park City, Utah and volunteered with the National Ability Center for Valentine’s Day. Video and stories will be coming soon. See photo of TEAM MATT on his first day on the monoski!
I filmed outside of Washington DC with The Jet Set, a travel TV Talk show. I loved meeting their entire team and being interviewed by Nikki Noya.
Latest Videos: I traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona in November, here are the videos and an article about the art, architecture and atmosphere that makes me want to return very soon!
INSPIRATION AWARD: The 2017 Winter Inspiration We Said Go Travel Writing award remains open until March 15! Ani Pema Chödrön writes: “No one ever knows what is going to happen next. Anything is possible.” Sometimes things do not go your way. Chödrön says: “In your life you fail. It’s just part of life that things will happen that you don’t want to happen. It is part of everyone’s life experience.” Are you willing to feel your fear and keep going? Are you willing got take a risk and have it turn out fabulous or will you let fear persuade you to give up or never begin? Share your story!
Thank you to everyone who participated! Read the articles from the finalists in the 2016 Independence Award. The 2016 Gratitude We Said Go Travel Writing Award entries are currently being published. I have been honored to publish nearly 2000 writers from 75 countries with the dozen writing competitions I have hosted on We Said Go Travel. I hope you will consider participating in this award or sharing it with someone who wants to tell their tale. Thank you for all the support over the years.
As my fortune cookie said: “ A Journey of a Thousand Miles must begin with a SINGLE step.” AND “Before you can see the light, you must deal with the darkness.” ONE MILLION VIDEO VIEWS will happen in March 2017! I am ready to celebrate with you. Thank you for your support. Lisa
