I spent nearly a month in the Caribbean for my birthday this year. I started my adventure in Aruba at Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort and loved the waterslide, infinity pool and swim-up bar.

When I worked on the cruise ships (for nearly seven years), one season I visited Aruba once a week. Even though I had been many times before, I really enjoyed my visit and found many new things to try out!

Lisa Ellen Niver, M.A. Education, is a science teacher and an award-winning travel expert who has explored 101 countries and six continents. She sailed the seven seas by cruise ship for seven years and backpacked for three years in Asia.
