I took this picture while ferrying between islands in The Bahamas. Using my Google Pixel 1 smartphone’s camera I waited until the far-off sailboat lined up with the blazing sun and snapped away. After capture I utilized the mobile app Snapseed to adjust details to include cropping, hdr aspect, sharpening and minor saturation adjustments.
This photo was taken using my Canon EOS 7D with a 18-135 mm f/3.5 -5.6 lens. Minor editing in Photoshop to bring out the colors. No filters.
