Thank you to Brian Kelly from the Points Guy. I was invited not only to his premier party, “One Night in Tokyo” for the re-launch of his digital travel series #TPGtv but also to interview him. I loved getting to sit down and learn more about the man behind this incredible website.
Kelly really wants you to travel more and better. His digital travel series has 90 second shareable segments packed with action tips so you can experience the travel treats he has discovered. He told me on camera how he paid only $23 and 74,000 miles for his Singapore Suites airline travel to Japan. Kelly stayed at three Hyatt properties in Japan and shares how many points it takes and how to book them.
I loved when Kelly told me:
“I am living my dream! The fact that this is my job and I can help so many others do the same [live out their dreams and travel more and better]–it’s a cause for celebration and that’s what tonight is.”
Here is a clip from our video interview together at Quixote Studios on July 26, 2016:
From The Points Guy “POINTS FOR PEACE:”
“The Points for Peace initiative invites TPG readers to participate in a program with the goal of spreading peace in the world.
I am excited to launch the program in partnership with the PeaceJam Foundation. I have experienced the power of their work first hand in Monaco, Ghana and South Africa and it is one of the most inspiring organizations I have ever worked with. You can see some of the wonderful work they do in the PeaceJam episode of TPGtv–view it here!
TPG has committed $150,000 to get the program off the ground in 5 countries including India, Guatemala, Ghana, South Africa, and East Timor. I have personally committed $50,000 as a 1-to-1 match for donations to this campaign to encourage the TPG community to get involved.
I am not only excited to go to each destination, but to have the opportunity to take some of you with me– donate to this initiative and be entered to win an all-expense paid trip to Guatemala or South Africa! ” from Brian Kelly’s site TPG
The “One Night in #Tokyo” premier of #tpgtv #Japan! Thank you Brian Kelly @thepointsguy
