Are you looking to launch your writing career or sharpen your writing skills? Abergavenny Writing Festival is an event for anyone who loves writing. The festival’s aim is to “bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to get writing.”
World Explorers Bureau’s 2016 Summit September 3-4
Meet and hear from some of the greatest advocates of adventure and exploration. Speakers will be sharing their personal insights and stories at the 2016 World Explorer’s Summit in Cardiff.
Pink Pangea’s Travel Writing Workshop April 24
Pink Pangea doesn’t just have writing retreats, they also have workshops; both online and in-person! This particular workshop is designed for both frequent travelers and not-so-frequent travelers to explore what writing means to them and how use it for accounting lived experiences.
Transition Abroad’s Expatriate and Work Abroad Writing Contest
There’s still time to enter before the May 15th deadline! All professionals, freelancers and aspiring writers with international work or study experience are encouraged to enter. Inspiring articles with in-depth practical descriptions of moving, living and working abroad are the most likely to win. Prizes: $500, $150 and $100 with runner-ups receiving $50 and publication.
WSGT’s new Travel Writing Award
Starting in May, the WSGT contests will be no more and in their place, a brand new award! The submission period will run from May 4th to July 4th. More to be revealed shortly!
